absolutley disguisting!! what more can i say! food was crawling with flys, ants and slugs, found stones, hairs, mould and slugs in our food to! rooms were filthy with rubbish air con, no hot water and live wires hanging out of plug and the electric would switch off all the time to! we were throwing up, constantly on the toilet and even ended up in hospital! if you have booked the sunlight gardens hotel then i strongly advise you cancel it!!

Definitely

I read a few review for Sunlight Gardens before my sister and myself went in June and I was very worried, but went with an open mind as we were just wanting a sunny short break. When we arrived it was very early in the morning. The receptionist was lovely, yes he was Turkish, and it took a while, but we managed to get all the information we needed for our stay. If anyone wants to complain about communications, why don't they learn a language before the travel? The security guard proceeded to show us around our appartment. Our first impressions were WOW! After reading the reviews we were expecting some cockroach infested squat. The rooms by some peoples standards were basic, but very clean. The maid came at least once every day. There were 2 balchonys, fridge/freezer, sink, toilet, shower. What more does anyone want/need on an all-inclusive holiday? The bar and waiting-on staff (all the staff) were all very friendly and really took the time to talk, and make you feel welcome.

Surrounding the pool is very slippy, but that is the way it was made and any adult should then walk carefully, and any child should not be left unattended anyway to be running around! The childrens entertainment is the same each evening, but that means that they get to know the dances. The twice weekly adult entertainment is enough. The drinks choice is limited, but poured in very generous measures. The food choice is enough, fresh, well made. The place is situated perfectly to be able to walk down to the beach, and there is even a FREE shuttle bus.

We found it very easy to get the local Dolmush to the bazaars. It was nice that the other guests were of mixed nationalities, and yes that means that not everyone is so 'English' about waiting patiently at the bar. All in all I think this place is fantastic value for money. It is not the Hilton, but neither is it charged as it!! Side is a lovely place also, not too commercialised, and I hope it will stay that way. We had a very relaxing time, and can't wait to return in September.

Probably

after reading the review of the previous person--i really thought oh my god what have i let myself book!!!i went with my friend and our 2 daughters in may o8 and was pleasantly suprised with what i found---the rooms are absolutely immaculate the maid came in every day to tidy the rooms--the food was ok yes it does get a bit repeatative after a few days but everything was fresh and cooked well the salads are really good lots of desserts
the pool area is really clean and yes plastic glasses are given around the pool but isn't that a good thing when there is children around?
--if a glass got smashed on the floor i am sure there would be enough people moaning about shards of glass getting into their feet!!!!!!you cannot please everyone can you!!
we had no problem getting served at the bar the bar staff were very friendly and they certainly did not ignore us in favour of the germans
a must i feel tell you is to have a turkish bath while you are there it is amazing and what a tan you get
no birds i found were in the restaurant--only the female kind
all in all you get what you pay for and this is definately worth the money
my only gripe at the sunlight gardens is there needs to be more evening entertainment on for the children there

The Hotel Is A Very Dangerous With Very Little Lighting By Stair Ways .The Pool Side Is Very Slippery With No Matting Around The Side To Prevent People From Slipping. The Food Is The Same Every Day And Birds Fly Around You As You Are Eating And Once Or Twice There Were Droppings On The Tables. The Staff Are Friendly As Long As You Are German,They Will Go Out Of Thier Way For Them.It Is Not For The British When My Family And I Were There Every British Couple Made A Complaint With The Rep And Always The Same Comments.Entertainment Was Very Poor We Stayed For Two Weeks And Only Had 4 Days Of Entertainment And It Was Poor.We Went All Inclusive And Had To Pay For Ice Cream For The Kids And Pay For Food Which Was On A Menu For People Who Did Not Like The Food They Were Serving. There Is Not Alot Around The Area Very Little In The Way Of Shops. Overall I Will Not Be Going Back There Ever And I Expect Many Other Couples Will Not Be Going Back Either.
