My wife and I spent a three day break at this hotel, booked via 'Easy Break'.
This Swallow hotel is classified as 4 stars and I think it is well worth it. A Victorian built hotel, it has a conservetery dining room built on and this is used for evening meals, so you are dining looking over the Moray Firth. The hotel has ample parking and sits it its own grounds. In addition it has a swimming pool and leisure centre.
On entering you get the old world feeling and are met by friendly staff. As you would expect, the hotel is old fashioned but is decorated to a high standard. The rooms are large and well equipped.
At breakfast tell the waitress what you want and it is cooked for you - none of this cooked in advance rubbish. Dinner is also to a high standard but you require to make a reservation.
This hotel is used by the Royal Air Force from nearby Kinloss for visting officers and numerous Americans were there also (Golf Courses everywhere).
In all a good base if tou are staying in Nairn but I would suggest trying www.easy-breaks.com before booking. Some of their deals (including ours) was less than half price for DBB.
The only reason I have stated 'probaby' for staying again is I am unlikely to be in Nairn again for some time but I do recommend this hotel.
