we had just returned from visiting USA where the service and value for money is second to none..however the time at the derwent matched this and gave us an all rtound wonderful break...the room ws clean and well fitted..coffee and tea with biscuits in ample supply...the welcome from the reception was both warm and informative.. the food was plentiful and good with a wide variety offered ..even to vegetarians..the wwaitresses were helpful and attentive to our needs..the evening entertainment was varied and very professional throughout.. the facilities for pool ect was plentiful and the swimming pool and sauna with the steam room were first rate...well done to staff and management ..
