Temi: Loved the Temi by Jacky Fairbrother |

My husband, myself and 2 teenagers have just returned after a week's stay at the Hotel Temi Cala Bona. We loved it. The rooms were bright with fantastic views over the sea. They were kept spotlessly clean with maid service every day. The air conditioning was a life saver as the temperatures were well into the 90s. I didn't think the food was brilliant, but my husband did. We didnt starve and certainly didn't have to go out spending on meals. I like plain food so there were quite a few things I wouldn't try, eg Calamaras, Veal in sauce, chicken in garlic, but you could always fill up on soup, salads, occasionally chips and the sweet table was full of lovely cakes (tiramisu, profiteroles, chocolate gateaux, jelly, fresh fruit, baked alaska etc). There was also a chef every evening who cooked fresh pancakes in front of you - they were lovely.
The hotel pool was quite small but nice and clean and the temperature was perfect. There never seemed to be many people in it, we quite often had it to ourselves. At the side of the pool there is a volleyball area.
There was an outside terrace bar which served various cocktails and milk shakes which were all very reasonable (250 Euros for an ices coffee made with ice cream and finished off with loads of whipped cream). We found some of the drink prices in the hotel cheaper than a lot of the bars in Cala Bona and Cala Millor.
There were 3 pool tables outside and 2 air hockey games, also a childrens play area with motorised bikes.
The location of the hotel is perfect, if you want the quieter side of Cala Bona just turn left out of the hotel and if you want more bars and nightlife, turn right as it is right in the middle of both resorts.
We paid £100 per person Bed, breakfast and evening meal and would definitely return to this hotel.
There seemed to be a lot of Germans staying at this hotel, but this seems to be the case all over Majorca. The majority were very nice, just the odd few were rude. The reception staff at the hotel are German. They can speak fluent English and were very nice and helpful.
