We've just got back from a weeks holiday staying at The Tobago. After reading reports from various sites we were a bit concerned about what we were about to receive.
True, they were over-booked when we arrived so they taxied us to The Hotel Florida, it was o.k. but no air con. Superb view over the bay though.
Not true, the standard of food had been described by many as rubbish. I would say we are fussy eaters but no complaints here. A good choice of dishes to suit any palet, though the soup was a bit repetative.
To be fair, the staff seemed a bit stressed out but we've had worse.
We had a good deal at The Tobago and would stay here again if a similar offer was available.
By the way, we got a taxi from the airport for 26 euros, were there in 15 minutes, no hassle and we got our evening meal. The only way to travel!!
