Single road up to hotel, don't be surpised to pass a coach on the way.
Food not too bad, had a strange idea of what a vegetarian is - firstly they tried to give me ham, then went into vegetarine over kill with no soup as made with chicken stock, my partner could not taste any chicken in his vegetable soup, then concern as I had put butter on my bread bun.
Room was clean but rather smelly, could not find where it was coming from. Large bedroom.
If you are disabled then you have no chance with the bath. A drain ran around the bath, but it was built up so you had to climb over this, then climb into the bath to get to the shower. Lovely smell last thing at night while in the bathroom, cakes being baked in the evening and early morning the bread being baked.

we stayed here for one night on our tour round sri lanka,from our balcony the views were stunning you can see all of kandy and the lake,the food was exellent,lovely resturant beautiful lounge area with breath taking veiws,the rooms were very basic but the location made up for it.
