| | We liked torremolinos promenade, but the town could do with some TLC, it looks outdated and shabby. I'm glad our hotel was down on the Prom, as If we had been up in the town I dont think we would have had as good a holiday as we had.The only nice thing in the town was the shopping street called Cala San Miguel, we enjoyed our time there very much. We visited Gibralta, and although we enjoyed seeing the apes , we thought the place was run down & scruffy, and the price of the food in the restaurants exhorbitant, 18 pounds for fish,chips a glass of beer & a glass of water.The alcohol & cigs & perfume were cheap, but nothing else that we could see, and we were told only to bring back inot Spain our quota as the Spanish police can be quite strict, but as wedont smoke, we only brought back 1 bottle of spirit & 12 bottle of perfume. We will go back again, to the costa del sol, but maybe to Fuengirola next time. |
