We have just arrived back from a wonderful seven night holiday at the Tres Torres in Santa Eulalia. From arrival to departure this was good old fashioned service with a smile...something sadly lacking in other places.
The hotel is situated overlooking the harbour area, at the quieter end of what is quite a cosmopolitan resort. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, and plenty of local people in the area, not simply tourists.
When we arrived at the hotel we had the warmest possible welcome, from experienced and friendly staff, who see the same guests return, year after year.
Although not an adult only hotel, for the week we were there, there wasnt a single child to be seen. It really does cater more for the middle to elderly age group, and does it fantastically. A British dominated hotel, it features in a well known brochure, but we booked independantly, and saved an absolute fortune on brochure prices.
The dining experience was first class. Breakfast had absolutely everything, and caters for all tastes. Even supplying English sausages as part of the BIG fry up. The evening meal was also truly wonderful, and as it is all buffet style, you really can help yourself.
The only reason I have marked the rooms down slightly, is beacause ours was a little on the small side, and could have done with a lick of paint. I truly believe that with all the advantages of booking a holiday independantly, something has to give. The better rooms quite rightly are given over to customers who book on the package deal and have literally paid double the price that we did. Having said that, we had air con, a fridge, nice balcony overlooking the harbour, TV and compact bathroom, with bath and shower and complete with hair dryer. Very little time was spent in the bedroom, and we were more than satisfied.
The outside seating area, bar and swimming pool are very pretty and relaxing. Be warned...the towels are put down on loungers very early by British holiday makers who then do a disappearing act for the morning. Not very fair.
Out and about...you can get the ferry boat to Ibiza town, Es Cana and Cala Llonga, which can work out quite expensive, but a great way to travel.
Right at the other side of the resort (follow the prom as far as you can go, then carry on past some bars) and you will come to the river area, which is lovely, complete with Mariners bar, which is a chilled out laid back place featuring live acts. This is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel, but you really will need to walk off that evening meal!!!
Without a doubt, the best holiday that we have had. We are already thinking of booking the same hotel for next year, something we have never done before. Fantastic!

Hi Helen, this may be a little late for you, but smoking is allowed in bedrooms and on balconies, but not in the indoor bar or lounges
