| Trianta Review: Trianda/Ialyssos is quite a nice resort. | | Written by Janice Webb on 20 Dec 2005 about a trip in Aug 2004.
| Trianda/Ialyssos is quite a nice resort - a good mixture of people
young/old/families even though the beaches are quite pebbly and it does get
breezy on occasions.
I would not say it is child friendly especially for families with small
children. The beaches had plenty of sunbeds which were 3 euros for the day.
There are plenty of bars/restaurants for every taste - we found a fantastic one
called La Serra (also an Internet cafe) run by Maria & Tassos who were very
friendly and made us feel so welcome.
Club Greece have an 'office' in this resort and we got conned by a guy who was
on a moped who stopped with some scratchcards and told us we had one a holiday.
Of course we should have known better but we agreed to go to the presentation
and the lady who saw us was very rude, used inappropriate language at times and
basically was really in our faces. You are told you have to stay for a minimum
of 90 minutes but its difficult to get away. We were there for over 2 hours
before we managed to escape. My advice is if anyone approaches you and gives
you a scratchcard say no thank you and walk away!
All in all though a good resort for adults |
