Tropicana: nightmare in tropicana by Joanne Aspinall |
| Posted 26 July 2007 about a visit in July 2007 | Overall rating: 5.6 |
when we arrived at the tropicana we were horrified to find that only two rooms had been booked instead of three so some of our family were sent to another hotel overnight.when we arrived in the dining room in the morning we found a decent array of food apart from beans.the rooms were very well equiped and very spacious and also had a small kitchenette.the pool area was decent and had a good amount of sunloungers.the entertainment was rubbish as it was centered around the german clientelle that was staying there and they made up 95%off the hotel.the food was more centered around the germans in fact everything was centered around the germans.the hotel was clean and tidy and the reception staff were very friendley especially chris who was english and helped out all she could with the room saga.In a nutshell if you can speak german or if you are german you will enjoy this hotel but if you are english avoid it like the plague as you will not anjoy it and you feel like the odd ones out.
