This was our third holiday in Marmaris and our first at the Tropikal. We could not have picked a better hotel. It is situated on the beach at the quieter end of Marmaris and we were really happy with our time there. The food was pretty good, the staff were all very pleasant, our room was always kept spotless by the cleaners and the view from our balcony was magical, especially at night. The entertainment was a bit naff but always good for a laugh. We booked dinner, bed and breakfast but ate out a lot, usually at the Greasy Spoon which is opposite the Grand Azur Hotel. Also if anyone is interested in buying really good jewellery, try Izi's the goldsmiths whose shop is right next door to the Greasy Spoon. He's a genuine person, and his jewellery is fantastic!
