| We spent 1 week in Tsilivi Aug 04, and had a lovely time. Our friends Kim and Pete had been on several occassions they always stay at the Mavrikos, and they love it. There is so much to do, and so many bars and restaurants to visit it's impossible to choose where to go, all the restaurants we visited were very good and resonably priced. Its lovely just sitting in a bar and watching everything/body go by and the local vino is really reasonable and drinkable.
We hired a car for a few days and it was really lovely to see the island, although driving was a little scary, We were able to visit beaches where there were hardly any other people, which is amazing in August!
I had the misfortune to get toncillitus on the last day of my holiday, we had to visit the doctor which cost 80 euros but she gave me a thorough check up and was really nice, also spoke perfect english, so you really don't have to worry about not getting good medical care while you are there.
We are meeting our friends again there this year and we are counting the days till we go back! |
