Our first time in Cyprus, and for two weeks the sun shone.
When we arrived, the manager whisked us into his office, to ask if we'd like to swap for an all-inclusive deal at the 4-star Oddessa, as they had over-booked. We declined, as we didn't know anything about the other hotel.
Had a relaxing time reading by the pool. No problem getting sunbeds.
Although we were half-board, we'd got such a good deal, we decided to eat out each evening. We stopped in to watch the entertainment on only one night, and the Robbie Williams tribute was hopeless.
Hotel is ideally situated on the beach, didn't have any problems with noise from Bell's bar at the top of the road, but we were over-looking the pool. Some rooms over-look the entrance, and I can guess they may have noise issues.
Next time we'll shop around for an appartment. Eating out is not too expensive, and there's lots of choice.

First time we have stayed in a 5 star hotel, will not bother wasting our money if they are all like this. Have stayed in 3 star hotels in England that were better.
Location great as far as being on the beach but its only a very short walk to the main road where the 2 loudest bars are situated.
The hotel accomodation is basic, air con in the rooms but nowhere else. The staff are ok but distant and the price of drinks etc are extortionate. 1.60 cyp for a can of coke, went half board for 10 days spent a fortune.
Resort was like a mini ayia napa, if you like karaoke and Elvis then you will enjoy yourself. We did find a couple of quite places, Happy Days on the main street and Yanis Maries down a side street overlooking the beach that place was brill. We looked at other 3 star hotels whilst in the resort which we have priced before booking the constantinos and wished we had stayed at one of those.

It's interesting to read recent reviews of CTG
We stayed at the Constantinos for New Year 2001/2002, when it was very new. The facilities and decor were excellent and we were blessed with superb weather, but the hotel was a great disappointment. Food was mediocre, with nothing different for the 'Gala Dinner'. We did not find the staff very friendly and there was no entertainment at all. The atmosphere in the Bar was dire ( as was the beer ! ) The manager blamed the British tour reps for 'incorrectly advising him what people expected !'
So many complained that we actually got money back from Airtours.
It doesn't sound like it's changed much !

This Hotel Is superb . Parents , wife and kids thought it was great . Good food , great pool area and right on the beach.

We are planning a one month holiday here starting November 1st.
Can you tell us what will the weather be like?
Can you tell us if the resort will be dead ?
I do like to walk out after dinner and call in at a couple of nice little bars !
