| | Spent a long weekend in Turin as part of a football tour (coinciding with Italy versus Wales UEFA 2004 qualifier in Milan). To be honest, travelling with 250 football supporters never ensures you get the best reception from either the hotel staff, locals or the Police. We stayed by Puerto Novo station and to say it was shady was an understatement! Pimps, druggies, transvestites in McDonalds, muggers, if I ever go back I shall try staying in a different part of town! |
