| Turunc Travel Guide: It's beautiful. A quiet and peaceful place.
| | Written by Rosy on 12 Aug 2008 about a trip in Jul 2008. Trip was for a family on holiday. Rosy would definitely visit again.
| Turunc shopping | | | Lost respect for some of the male market traders at the Icemeler, plain rude and uttered racist comments towards us if you didnt want to buy chav copy goods. Didnt bother going again so we bought our fresh fruit local to our hotel. |
Turunc restaurants | 9.0 | | Very nice food at most of the restaurants. Very respectful and polite staff. Even fish and chip restaurant was as good as English too! |
Turunc events | | | Went to Dalyan and turtle beach with local man's boat trip. Loved the scenery, it was beautiful. We also went to mud baths which we didnt enjoy due to over population of us tourists who where rounded up and encouraged to pile in and out like sheep dipping season. Too crowded. Wont go again. |
Getting to Turunc | 9.0 | | Went over the mountains, was very beautiful views overlooking the town. Used a taxi who, as expected, ripped us off however this is something we had to get used to but we learned to compromise a price for most things. |
Getting around Turunc | | We stayed within the town so was able to walk everywhere. Caught a taxi bus to Icemeler and back which was very efficient and comfortable. |
