5 girls staying in the Valentin Marieta in September. we were half board for 9 nights and managed to get a good deal on the internet!
when we first arrived we didnt know what to expect! although the hotel was done up in the 80's i have to say the decor was still from that era, although it was clean so that was the most important thing. We had a sea view (although it was a bit away) still nice at night which was better than the st view anyways. Everything was clean in the apartment and only one cockroach was present which soon got flip flopped! Quite big and spacious appartments, no air con but there is a fan in the living room and bed room, perhaps in the hotter season itd be advisable to buy a fan!
Staff were friendly and helpful and there was always something going on at the pool! Although when ur sleeping at the pool the entertainment staff (lovely person) was always askin if you wanted to join in games!!
Pool area was ok size there was always more than enough sun loungers n padding for it which was good although parasols were like gold dust!!
food in the appartment was alright it seemed as though i was eating the same thing every night - dinner was better than breakfast but there was always enough so you wouldnt go without!
Playa del ingles is mainly for 20s havin a crazy time so we expected groups to be at our appartment but also end of the season so it wasnt too busy, and at night/early morning there was a security guard keepin everyone quiet anyways!
Excellent location about two mins from irish centre - but far enough away so its not too noisy!
Overall fab holiday would defo go back to Playa and Valentin Marieta
