This is a nice hotel clean and comfortable, maids come in everyday and clean . The air conditioning is good. Can be noisy around the pool bar area with the res and kids, the food in the hotel is ok but not brilliant.there is a phone in the rooms for incoming calls, the staff are friendly/ helpful enough but could be better.
A good place if you have kids .

Ok folks just got back from 2wk stay at the vangelis so what did we think.
Well if you want a quite holiday this is not the place to stay. it's very family orientated place the pool area is never quite the reps are always doing something with the kids be it aqua disco water polo etc there's mens and kids football matches theres the daily quiz. The reps try to involve you in the activitys wether you want to or not, But the kids club is great for getting the kids off your hands for a bit.
Theres entertainment on every evening until midnight.
As for the staff they are not over freindly and helpful but the rooms are clean and the air con excellent.
This is an ok place I've stayed at better and far worse but if it's a family holiday place your looking for then it's right up your street.
Protras is excellent great. The food is fantastic the main road is alot better now it is only one way and the people are great the weather was fantasic and the holiday enjoyable any one wants any more info just mail me I will be happy to help.

Vangelis: Best time. Guaranteed by Richie Duncan |

This was a best hotel I have stayed in, anywhere abroad. The hotel is always spotless, the food is excellent and has very friendly staff. The Pilades Vangelis is slightly new, so it is very modern with 2 swimming pools, great parking and on-site laundrette. The hotel is ideally placed in the centre of the main street in Protasas with a couple of minutes walk from all bars, clubs, shops and restaurants.
The Vangelis is also just a couple of minues away from the beautiful Fig Tree Bay, and gives excellent views from the balconies.
