this very affordable hotel is fabulous!the saying "you get what you pay for" is very true in most aspects applicable to this hotel BUT you get far more than you paid for in freindliness and great service!

the rooms are adequate, simple but clean (standard rooms perhaps a little disappointing). some areas needed a little touching up here and there but the gardens were beautiful.

food was great chef very accomodating,and waiters extremely attentive and entertaining!

the beach is small and certainly not amongst the best on the island but is just outside the hotel - it does have though the white sand, turquiose sea and beautiful sunset so maybe you wont feel the need to go further away for beaches but if you do travelling around the island is simple and reasonably priced.

i travelled with my parents and my 8yr old who thoroughly enjoyed himself, there is a childrens club-which he didnt attend-he was happy with the pool, darts, pingpong and swimming. childrens the club worker was lovely. As was all the staff. The bar staff quickly became bosom buddies with dad constently refilling his beer glass!! all in all it was just great...thanks coin de mire well done ....!!!

Hi
I;m thinking off stoping at the coin de mire at the end of june ! I think its ok ?what is the weather like, is the drinks & food is it exspencive,how far is grand baie to walk. Most greatful for any info if you have been.
