We have visted this hotel on several occasions and it never fails. This year we decided to upgrade to a junior suite. Wow! It was worth the very little extra we had to pay. We had a huge balcony and own sunbeds, ideal if you want to do as you wish.
The hotel is fantastically positioned inbetween the old and new town. The old town is much better if you are over 30! There is an abundance of bars, shops, wonderful scenery and walks.
The hotel is immaculate with the rooms cleaned on a daily basis. The food is excellent and the hotel has amenities for all ages. The staff are curtious and very friendly. The cost for this 4* hotel is not expensive given the prices of other hotels in alufeira.
Take is from us. A vist to the Cerro Alagoa is a must and you won't be dissapointed. We have always booked our flight and the hotel direct, but this year we went with DIY Travel and they came out even cheaper!
You'll love the proximity and quality of the hotel - to suit all, babies, children, adults etc.

p.s. we even booked out Son & Daughter in law in for their honeymoon in September - their room was to die for! They loved every minute.
