We stayed there in October 2002 and because it was the last week of the season there was a little bit of maintenence needed doing in a few areas. The bar staff weren't very helpful but probably becuase they wanted to go home. The pool area is average. The studio apartments are very small and of a average standard. This complex is very much a family complex. This complex is also a fair walk from the main nightlife and eateries of the resort but buses run frequently. I'm sure in the high season it is a good place to go but we didn't think so at the end of the season.

We holidayed at the 'Viva Alcudia Sun Village' from 10.8.02 for 2 weeks and were very pleased overall. Our first apartment overlooked the waterway & was fusty in the bedroom wardrobe so we asked for a move & it was done immediately. The apartments are large enough 1 bed with lounge & kitchenette. There are 2 settee beds & ir conditioning, microwave, satalite TV full bathroom. They are in 2 storey blocks & the only rreal problem is the acoustics within the blocks. If you have noisy neighbours returning home you will hear them.
We stayed half board, the resteraunt is excellent the selection first class. I would go as far as to say it was consistantly the best quality & selection of food we have ever had in Europe in the past 22 years. Most people were self catering suprisingly.The staff are extremely helpful & the company 'Viva Hotels' are keen on site maintainance. Pitty about the damp but then they are rlatively new owners. Pool good & no problems with the sun beds. The beach is only 10 minutes from the front door & Alcudia marina is 60 mins walk away.
The only real problem was the abundance of moscito's in the area with all the water about & hence we all had a number of bites. Overall very good
