Myself and my husband stayed here for 2 nights in Feb. Hotel is in a great location - just over the bridge from Leidsplein where there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel is definitely not 4*. Towels were placed under fire doors on corridors to keep them open -bedroom was clean and nice fresh bedlinen with a decent size bathroom but a little worn. Lift made a great clanking noise so avoid rooms near lift. Hotel is actually 2 buildings joined together so you have to walk onto the street to go to reception. Breakfast was good. Trams just minutes away and also near to Vondel Park where there are an abudance of good restaurants and shops.
