| Visited Yalikavak for the first time in June and was well impressed. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere with locals very much to the fore and the village by know means being over run by us tourists! Had lunch at the very English Windmill International Steak, Wine House and Pie Shop on the harbour. Food and service by (Frankie Dettori!) was excellent. After lunch the waiter gave our son a fishing line and wet bread to try his luck in the clear harbour water which was teeming with fish.
Can thoroughly recommend Yalikavak on what we experienced so far. Have decided to go back in October and am thinking of staying at the Windmill Hotel. |
