Yel: Great Hotel by Deborah Johnstone |
| Posted 30 July 2007 about a visit in August 2006 | Overall rating: 10.0 |
This is a fantastic hotel stayed there last august and are returning this august.
Lovely quiet location but within easy reach of Hisaronu, Olu Deniz and Fethiye.
Friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Large pool with water slide that the adults and kids enjoy alike.
There are snacks available most of the day and there is a great buffet and a la carte selection available in the evenings all reasonably priced.
Bedrooms are kept very clean and the rooms have fantastic views over the mountains and Hisaronu.

Yel: The Best of both worlds by Denise Clarke |
| Posted 12 July 2007 about a visit in June 2007 | Overall rating: 9.7 |
The Yel is set in the most beautiful surrounding in the mountains with spectacular views.
We have stayed at the Yel 3 times now.We cannot fault it.The hotel is situated not far from the main road that runs from Hisaronu to Fethiye and now there is a dolmus that stops right outside the hotel. It takes about 20 mins to walk into Hisaronu.I have never walked to Olu Deniz .the hotel offers you a private bus that operates twice a day that will take you to the private beach on the lagoon. It picks back up about 5pm.
The rooms are kept spotless by the wonderful maids.Air-con is included in the price. There is also mini fridge and hair-dryer.The balcony are on the small side.
The gardens are wonderful kept by a gardener who never seems to stop.
The pool and bar area are also very good with a water slide for children and adults have to try it at least once!
All the staff at the Yel are a delight (not to over friendly!!!)really very pleasant.Nothing is to much trouble. The food is also very good.We stay b&b but most evenings dine in the hotel. The prices are very reasonable.
The hotel operates on a card system so you dont need any cash.At first I thought they would be adding allsorts onto it.But that is not the case and repeat customers get a 15% discount on their bar and restaurant bill.
You wont be dissappointed with this hotel.
